Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea is the latest coffee concept to hit Chicago. This Flagship store in Wicker Park is the first of several to open in Chicago and across the country. The interior design reflects the eclectic mix of coffee & teas blended with the nostalgia of the county fair. The owners asked for a “warm, worn, playful” feel. Overstuffed leather furnishings, a fire place and hand crafted, reclaimed wood tables address the warm and worn aspect. Vintage coffee, tea and fair artifacts along side a giant neon “F” address the playful aspect.
